',1HE,R.TAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
did heretofore duly pass and adopt a resolution declaring its inten-
tion to change the boundaries of the zone hereinafter mentioned and
described and slid fix a time and _place for the holding of public
hearinss thereon in the Manner and as proscribed in Ordinance 1'o.•
774 of the City of Anaheim, and did duly hold and conduct two public
hearings to consider such p:c•oposcd change of zone and did receive
evidence a reports from ,persons interested therein; and

formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions and
reasons for recommending an amondia: nt to said Ordinance to effect
the proposed changes of the boundaries of the zone hereinafter men
tioned and d scri'bec' and
::iEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of
the City Planning Co.��mission, the City Council did thereupon fix
the 10th clay of June 19 52, as the time and the Council
Chambers in the City Hall of the City of ..naheim as the place for a
:ublic hearing upon said ,proposed change of zone and did give notice
thereof in the manner and as provided in said Ordinance iTo. 774; and
/HERE'S, at the time and place fixed for said public heparin`
the City Council dicl duly hold and conduct such public hearing and
did _;ivy all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard
and did receive evidence e.nd reports and slid thereupon consider the
reco,,,,aendations of the City '=laming Commission; and
1 =EREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the
property and area •proposed to be changed from an R A, Residential-
Agricultural Zone to an R -3, Multiple Family Residential
Zone, is more suitable for an R -3, Multiple Family Residential
Zone than for agricultural and residential purposes, and that the
inclusion of said property and area in an R -3 Zone -rill increase
the value of said property and area and rill not depreciate the
values of properties in adjoining zones.
NO THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Clifornia, described
as follows, to -Trit:
The area bounded by East Sycamore Street, North Orange
Street (A.T. &S.F. Ry), East Cypress Street and North
East Street.
be chanced from a n R -A, Residential Agricultural Zone
to an R -3, Multiple Family Residential
Zone.
:t IT 7URTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and he is
hereby, authorized and directed to prepare and submit to the City
Council an amendment to Ordina :ace No. 774 to amend said Ordinance to
accomplish the object herein found and determined to be necessary
and proper.
