A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ASCERTAINING AND DETERMINING THE PREVAIL-

6 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find
it
1 and determine that public interest and necessity requires the
8 acquisition of materials, plant, labor and services for the install4

9 0ation of a new filter system in the present filter room of the City

11 11 WHEREAS, Section 1770 of the Labor Code of the State of

12 California reouires that the City Council ascertain and determine
13 the general prevailing rate of hourly wages and rates for legal

14\\ holidays and overtime work on public works in the locality in which
15 th.e work is to be performed, for each type or craft of workman, i
11
16 laborer or mechanic needed for the execution of such public contrac
17o o r public improvement and for the furnishing of all plant, labor,

18 services and equipment and performing: all work necessary for the
19 execution and completion of said public contract or improvement;

20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
23. 1 City of Anaheim that in accordance with the provisions of Section
11
22 1770 of the Labor Code of the State of California, that the City
23 Council has ascertained and does hereby determine the general pre-
241 vailinE rate of hourly wages and rates for legal holidays and
25 overtime work on public works in the locality in which the work is
26 1 1 to be performed for each craft or type of laborer, workman or
27 mechanic needed for the execution of a public work contract or
28 contracts for the furnishing of all plant, materials, labor and
29 services and equipment for the installation of a new filter system
3(3 in the filter room in the City Plunge of the Anaheim City Park, and
31 q performing all work necessary to install and complete, except
321 electric wiring, in a good and workmanlike manner, said new filter

Sundays and the following legal holidays: New Year's Day, Memor-
ial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Armistice Day, Thanksgiving
Day, and. Christmas Day; and provide further that the pay for
17 foremen for each e%ght-hour day shall be not less than 040 per day
more than the journeyman rate for the craft or workman involved.

19 Properly indentured apprentices to any of the trades listed
20
above may be employed upon the project with skilled workmen sub-
ject to the provisions of Section 1777.5 of the California Labor
21
22 Codes, the wage rates for such apprentices to be determined as
