WHEREAS, on the 13th day of November, 1951, E. E. Heacock,
Leah V. McDonald, Mrs. Ted Anderson, Mrs. Daisy D. Acton, and
Mrs. William Vuksanovich filed a written request with the City
Council of the City of Anaheim requesting the consent of the City
Council to the commencement of proceedings for the annexation of
certain inhabited territory more particularly hereinafter described
to the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the provisions of the Annexa-
tion Act of 1913, Title IV, Division 2, Part 2, Chapter 1, Articles
1 to 4 inclusive, of the Government Code of California; and
WHEREAS, the City Council aid thereupon refer said appli-
cation to the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, on the 13th day of November, 1951, the City
Council did receive from the City Planning Commission its recom-
mendation approving the proposed annexation; and
WHEREAS, said City Council did give its consent to the
commencement of said proceedings on the 13th day of November, 1951,
and
WHEREAS, on the 5th day of December, 1951, said proponents
did file with the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim a notice of
intention to circulate a petition for annexation to the City of
Anaheim of the territory hereinafter described, together with an
affidavit of the publication of said notice showing the same to
have been published on the 3rd day of December, 1951, and
WHEREAS, the City Council did thereafter on the llth day of
December, 1951, find and determine that it would be to the ad-
vantage and for the best interests of the City of Anaheim and
the qualified electors residing within the hereinafter described
territory to approve the circulation of a petition for annexation

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF A NOTICE
OF INTENTION TO CIRCULATE A PETITION FOR THE
ANNEXATION OF INHABITED TERRITORY TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM TOGETHER WITH THE AFFIDAVIT OF THE
PUBLISHING THEREOF, AND APPROVING THE CIRCULA-
TION OF A PETITION FOR THE ANNEXATION OF SAID
TERRITORY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED, TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM.

of said territory to the City of .Anaheim, and the City Council
did thereupon approve the circulation of said petition, and such
approval was entered in the minutes of the Council; and
WHEREAS, said matter was referred to the County Boundary
Commission with respect to the definiteness and certainty of the
proposed boundaries, and a report and approval of such boundaries
was received from said Boundary Commission on the 7th day of
January, 1952.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAI 'IM that the action of the City Council on December
11, 1951, approving the circulation of the petition for the annexa-
tion of the hereinafter described property to the City of Anaheim
under the Annexation Act of 1913 hereinabove referred to be, and
the same is hereby, ratified and confirmed, and that the circula-
tion of said petition is hereby approved and that such annexation
shall be designated as the EUCLID AVENUE ANNEXATION NO. 2. The
boundaries of the territory so proposed to be annexed are described
as follows, to wit:
A tract of land including a portion of the SW4 of the SW4
of Section 9, a portion of the SE* of the SE4 of Section
8, a portion of the NW4 of the NW* of Section 16, and a
portion of the NE* of the NE* of Section 17, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian,
and Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 of Tract 658, as shown on a
map thereof recorded in Book 20, Page 36, Miscellaneous
Maps, so including a portion of Lincoln Avenue and Euclid
Avenue, in the County of Orange, State of California,
and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the present westerly city
limit line, said point being on the southerly line of
Lincoln Avenue and 346.0 feet westerly from the center
line of Loara Street; thence N- 1 02t -45" W along the
present city limit line a distance of 310.38 feet to a
point; thence N- 57 13t -30 -W along the present city
limit line a distance of 1125.44 feet to a point on the
easterly line of Euclid Avenue; thence S -0 43t -28 -W
along the present city limit line a distance of 244.41
feet to a point of intersection with the South line of
the Ni of the SE4 of the SE4 of Section 8, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian
projected eastwardly; thence Westwardly along said South
line of the Ni of the SE4 of the SE4 of Section 8 and
said line projected to the westerly line of the SE4 of
the SE* of the SE4 of said Section 8; thence Southwardly
along the 'westerly line of said SE4 of the SE4 of the
SE4 of said Section 8, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,

day of
San Bernaraino Base and heridian and along the Westerly
line of Lot 5 of Tract 658 as shown on a map thereof
recorded in Book 20, Page 36, Miscellaneous Maps,
Records of Orange County and said line extended a dis—
tance of 689.91 feet, more or less, to the southerly
line of Lincoln Avenue; thence Eastwardly along the
Southerly line of said Lincoln Avenue to the point
of beginning.
