A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION,
ABANDONMENT AND CLOSING TO PUBLIC USE OF
A CERTAIN UNNAMED STREET AND STREET EASE
MENT TOGETHER WITH A CERTAIN ALLEY EASEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim, a municipal
corporation of the State of California, did on the 0 of
September, 1951, pass its Ordinance No. 787, entitled AN ORDINANCE
DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
TO VACATE AND ABANDON AN UNNAMED STREET AND PUBLIC STREET EASEMENT
DESCRIBED AS THE EASTERLY 25 FEET OF BLOCK "D" OF HEIMANN AND
SORRENSEN'S ADDITION BUILDING LOTS AS SHOWN ON A MAP RECORDED IN
BOOK 3, PAGE 144 OF MISCELLANEOUS MAPS, RECORDS OF ORANGE COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA, INCLUDING AN EASEMENT FOR ALLEY PURPOSES OVER THE
EASTERLY 25 FEET OF THE ALLEY BETWEEN LOTS 6 AND 7 IN SAID BLOCK
"D", AND FIXING A TIME AND PLACE FOR A HEARING THEREON AND DIRECT-
ING THE POSTING OF NOTICES THEREOF AND THE PUBLICATION OF THIS
ORDINANCE, whereby it declared its intention to vacate, abandon and
close to public use an unnamed street and public street easement
described as the Easterly 25 feet of Block "D" of Heimann and
Sorrensen's Addition Building Lots, as shown on a map recorded
in Book 3, page 144 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, California, including an easement for alley purposes over
the Easterly 25 feet of the Alley between Lots 6 and 7 in said Bloc:
"D and
WHEREAS, said City Council, in said Ordinance, referred to a
map on file in the office of the City Clerk for further particulars
as to the proposed vacation, abandonment and closing to public use
of said unnamed street and public street easement and alley ease-
ment; and
WHEREAS, said City Council did by said Ordinance fix October
11, 1951, at 1:30 o'clock P. M. in the City Hall of the City of

Anaheim as the time and place of public hearing on the matter of
such vacation, abandonment and closing to public use of said
unnamed street and public street easement and alley easement for
all persons interested in or objecting to such proposed vacation,
abandonment and closing to public use; and
WHEREAS, said Ordinance was published on September 27,
in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation,
printed, published and circulated in the City of Anaheim, Orange
County, California; and
WHEREAS, by said Ordinance said City Council directed that
notices, the passage of said Ordinance and of time and place of the
hearing of the matter of the vacation, abandonment and closing to
ublic use of said unnamed street, public street easement and alley
easement be posted conspicuously along the line of said unnamed
street, public street easement and alley easement not more than 300
feet apart and that not less than three such notices should be
posted; and

18 WHEREAS, George E. Holyoke, City Engineer and Superintendent
19 of Streets did on /September 26, 1951, post conspicuously 4
20 such notices along the line of said unnamed street, public street
21 easement and alley easement, which notices were posted less than
300 feet apart; and
WHEREAS, on October 11, 1951, at the hour of 1 :30 P.M. there
of said City Connell W
was not a quorum of the membe¢s present at said City Hall to conduct
said hearing set for said time and place and that by reason thereof
26 the Mayor of the City of Anaheim adjourned the time and place of
27 said hearing until October 23, 1951, at 8 o'clock P.M. at said City
28 i. =11 in said City of Anaheim, as appears from the minutes of said
29 ity Council; and
30 WHEREAS, said City Council did on October 23, 1951, at 8 o'cloc
31 P.M. at s aid City Hall conduct a public hearing on the matter of
32 whether said unnamed street, public street easement and alley ease
ent should be vacated, abandoned and closed to public use, and at

said hearing did hear evidence thereon.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM:
1. That it finds the recitals hereinbefore set forth in this
resolution to be true;
2. That it finds from all the evidence submitted that said
unnamed street, public street easement and alley easement, describ-
ed in said Ordinance, are unnecessary for present or prospective
public street purposes.
3. That it does hereby order that said unnamed street, public
street easement and alley easement be and they are hereby vacated,
abandoned and closed to public use.
4. That the said unnamed street, public street easement and
alley easement herein ordered vacated, abandoned and closed to
public use, are those described in said Ordinance No. 787, are
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, and are more particularly described as follows:
The Easterly 25 feet of Block "D" of Heimann
and Sorrensen's Addition Building Lots, as
shown on a map recorded in Book 3, page 144
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, California, including an easement
for alley purposes over the Easterly 25 feet
of the alley between Lots 6 and 7 in said
Block "D".
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this
