1951-18731 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 291 30 31 32 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM that in accordance with the provisions of Section 1770 of the Labor Code of the State of California, that said City Council has ascer- tained the general prevailing rate of hourly wages and rates for legal holidays and overtime work for each craft or type of laborer, workman or mechanic needed for the execution of a public work contract for the furnishing of all plant labor services, material and equipment and performing of all work necessary for the painting of fifty -two (52) man holes in the Magnolia Trunk Sewer and Pumping Plant and Force Main of the Orange County Joint Outfall Sewer, for which said City is contracting agent, said pre- vailing rates so determined being as follows: TRADE OR OCCUPATION Journeyman bruehpainter Journeyman spray painter RESOLUTION NO. 1 RESOLUTION ADOPTING A WAGE SCALE FOR PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACT. -1- MINIMUM HOURLY WAGE RATE 2.20 2.45 Any classification not listed above, not less than 2.20. The foregoing wage scales are for an eight hour day, forty hour week, time and one -half for overtime and double time for Sundays and legal holidays except as otherwise provided in the July, 1950, revision of the A. G. C.- A.F.L. Southern California Master Labor Agreement and Supplements, which shall govern for such overtime and double time pay and for the wage scale for fore- men not otherwise listed above. Properly indentured. apprentices to any of the trades listed above may be employed upon the project with skilled workmen subject to the provisions of Section 1777.5 of the California Labo Code, the wage rate for such e.oprentiees to be determined as pro- vided in such section.
