1,7REAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did on
the 24th day of April, 1951, receive a written petition asking that
certain new territory described in said petition be annexed to the
City of Anaheim, and
PEAS, said territory Proposed to be annexed to said.
City of Anaheim is situated in the County of Orane, tate of
Califorria, and is contiguous to the City of Anaheim and is unin-
habited territory, and said petition contained a description of
said territory in words and figures as hereinafter in this Resolu-
tion described, and
7 ETR' 7 A, the City Council finds from evidence and reports
received that at the time or the filing and receipt of said petition
it was and now is signed by owners of not less than one-courth
of the area and not less than one-fourth (i) of the assessed valua-
tion of the land in such territory proposed to be annexed, according
to the last preceding equalized county assessment roll, and
_nREAIS, the City Council finds from evidence and reports
received and from said petition that at the time of the filing and

municical corporation anL, that said territory was uninhabited and
is contiguous to the 7,ity of Anaheim, and

so proposed to be a ,nexee to the City of Anaheim are as follows, to
wit:
A tract of land includinF a portion of Lot 5 of MiIes Rancho

as shown on a map recorded in Book 4, page 7, Miscella-
neous Maps, Records of Orange County and a portion of State
Highway Route 101, also known as South Spadra Road, in
the County of Orange, State of California, and more par-
ticularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the p-esent northerly city limit
line of the Oity of Anaheim, said point being 30 feet west
of the monumented center line of North Lemon Street and
20 feet north of the monumented center line of Romneya
Drive; thence l‘ortLwardly al-ng the westerly line of said
North Lemon s,treet and the present city limit line a distance
of 700.12 feet to a point; thence couthlAestwardly a distance
of 1307.18 feet, more or less, to a point on the easterly
property line of State Hijlway Route 101, otherwise known
as South Spadra Road, said point being 351.77 feet nortlerly
from the north line of Romneya Srive, said nort- line also
being the present city limit line; thence estwardly at
right angles to the said east property line of State Figh-
way Route 101 a distance of 80 feet to a point on the
westerly property line of said State Highway Route 101, said
westerly property line also being the present city limit
line; thence Slouthwaraly along the said westerly property
line of State Highway :ioute 101 ano the Present city limit
line a distance of 351.77 feet to a point on the northerly
line of Romneya Drive, said northerly line of 'omneya Drive
also being the present city limit line; thence Dastwardly
along the said northerly line of Romneya Drive and the
()resent city limit line a distance of 1300.90 feet to the
point of beginning. Area 17.31 Acres-- .02705 square miles.
NOT, TH7RFFORE, SF IT RESOL= BY TH.7. CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF .AAHRIMI
That such proposed annexation be designated. as
MORALES ANNEUTION and that notice of
such proposed annexation be and the same is hereby given, and
BD IT PJHTHrR )ISOLTF: that the 22 day of m 1951,
at the hour of 8:00 otclock P.M., at the _;ity Council Chamber in
the City Pall of the City of Anaheim, be and tbe same is hereby
fixed as the day, hour anci Place when and where any person owning
real property within said territory so proposed to be annexed, and
having any objections to the proposed annexation, may appear before
the City Council of the City of Anaheim and show cause why such
territory should not be so annexed; that all persons having any
objections to such proposed annexation are hereby notified to
appear on said day at said hour and Tice° to show cause, if any
they have, why such territory should not be so annexed, and

Br IT FUETHFR RFSOLV D that the City Clerk be and he is
hereby authorized ana directed to publish or cause a copy of this
Resolution to :e ublisb.ed at least once a week for two successive
weeks prior to the 22nd ay of May 1951, in the Anaheim Bulletin
a newspaper of general circulation, published in the City of Anahei
County of Orange, State of California.
