A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL CF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ADOPTING A POLICY AND RULES
AND REGULATIONS RELATING TO SICK LEAVE OF
CITY EMPLOYEES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim have
not heretofore adopted a policy nor any rules and regulations re-
lating to sick leave of city employees; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be for
the best interest and welfare of the City of Anaheim and ti city
emoloyees thereof to adoot a definite policy ancl rules a.
relating to sick leave granted or to be granted to city
employees of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City 0 ntl of
the City of Anaheim that a oolicy of granting ck leave be and
name is hereby adopted•and that the granting of such oik leave
be governed ane determihed by the following rules and regula-
tions and such others as may from time to time be adopted. by the
City Council:

that portion of his reular salary which ctnl, together

4. Officers and employees who are in the service of the
City at the time this rule takes effect shall be en-
titled to an accumulation of sick leave at the r.ate
of 6 days for each full year of prior service hot to
exceed a total of 30 'lays.

Sick leave cth pay in excess of three consecutive
working days for reasons of personal illness or ohyst-
cal incaoacity shall be ranted only after oresenta-
tion of written statement by a reputable ohysician
certifyinE that the e:Dployeels coneLition prevented
him from perfori:ling the quties of his poEition. Appro-
priate fangs for such a statement will be furniched by
the City Clerk.
