1951-18153 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 RwSOLUTION NO. 4/6 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AS CONTRACTING AGENT FOR THE CITIES OF ANAHEIM, FULLERTON AND ORANGE AND THE BUENA PARK, GARDEN GROVE, LA HABRA AND PLACENTIA SANITARY DISTRICTS EMPLOYING NAT H. NEFF AS CHIEF ENGINEER. IN CHARGE OF INSPECTION AND SURVEYING ON THE MAGNOLIA TRUNK SEWER AND PUMPING PLANT AND FORCE MAIN AND PROJECT TOGETHER WITH THE APPURTENANCES DURING THE PERIOD OF THE CON- STRUCTION THEREOF AND FIXING HIS COMPEN- SATION. WHEREAS, the Cities of Anaheim, Fullerton and Crane and the Buena Park, Garden Grove, La Habra and Placentia Sanitary Districts have awarded contracts for the construction, installatio and completion of the Magnolia Trunk Sewer and Pumping Plant and Force Lain and Project and the apurtenances thereto; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is necessary and to the advantage and for the best interest of said Cities and Sanitary Districts that a Chief Engineer to be in charge of sur- veying and inspection on said Magnolia Trunk Sewer Project during the period of construction, be employed; and WHEREAS, the Executive Board of the above named Cities and Sanitary Districts constituting the Orange County Joint Outfall Sewer has recommended the employment of Nat H. Neff as such Chief Engineer to be i charge of surveying and inspection during the period of construction of said Magnolia Trunk Sewer Project, and to report to the City of Anaheim as such contracting agent, and has recommended that his compensation be fixed at the sum o± Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars W50.00) per month plus his actual and necessary expenses, and mileage reasonably and necessarily travele in the performance of his duties at the rats of *0 per mile; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said employment is reasonable and proper and to the advantage and for the best in- terest of said. Cities and. Sanitary Districts and that such employ- ment of Nat H. Neff as Chief Engineer to be in charge of and to do the 5 surveying and inspection of the Magnolia Trunk Sewer and Pumping 6H Plant and Force Main and Project together with the appurtenances 7 1 thereto during the period of the construction thereof under the 8 29 30 31 32 direction of the City of Anaheim, at a salary of Seven Hundred. Fifty Dollars (750.00) per month plus actual and necessary ex— penses, and mileage traveled at the rate of 710 per mile in the performance of his duties as such Chief Lngineer; and 3 IT FURTH-...
