When uout driving last night was in villa park Yorba Linda and Anahrim hills, one thing is consistent these are residential areas with one and two lane roads most
have no shoulders and no center dividers they are all master planned communities that were not ever zoned for high density or apartments of large amounts all
property in question is not zoned for it. Yorba Linda recently shut down a proposal directly across freeway as it was not zoned and did possed problems in high fire
area as well as current traffic which is no where near the traffic we have over here. My heart breaks when I see emergency sitting on the road with no possible
way to get through anywhere to a fire or someone in need for a medical emergency . Ways has shows the IE traffic how to cut through orange to Anahrim hills to
the 91 freeway. It has trapped us in our homes and made a huge mess! Our current evacuation states 3 hours not tested btw and on a regular night can take a
hour just to go 2-3 miles people make up there own lanes exit freeway going backwards and it’s very dangerous out there. When you look at these pictures know
there is NO possible way to get through this traffic on a regular day of the week throw in a accident on the freeway and our wing of the city shuts down. We
need to keep zones in place and we can not add to thus current situation and bridges etc will only add to the problem we need to reduce current traffic re direct off
our side streets. This is not normal traffic that other cities share this is you are just excuse my language screwed. La Palma on opposing side of freeway all the
way to gypsum also no movement and residents can not leave homes as it stands. Just do you know this is new in the last couple years this was never a problem
before. Now think about a development day in Irvine with 5 lanes a shoulder to every road no rush of wildfire and parallel streets every block totally different it
was designed like that same with other parts if Anahrim or other cities. 91 freeway is one of the worst in this area and everyone tries to avoid it and now it has
caused issues for residents. I expect there to be many lawsuits about medical or fire etc and not being able to get to our homes or for us to get out. The last fire it
took till the next day to reach our oldest who was fleeing from the fire and hours to get our youngest literally on foot from Santa Ana canyon to el rancho, I had no
way out a fire tornado and thick smoke took over and I was unable to see only feel my way around to get back into home, a few other neighbors used hoses to
battle the fire on the hillside. This is not a joke it’s not about change it’s about improvement and keeping us safe and allowing the police or fire to be able to get to
us. I can provide other pictures as well. I’m tired as we all are of this constant push for all these developments which are all right next to each other none zoned
for any of this for a good reason. This area is no dirtent then directly across the freeway in Yorba Linda the answer was no they were not about to further put
residents at risk I urge you to reach out to there mayor as well. She is a stand up woman and is protecting her city Janice Lim. We should not be wasting city time
and money discussing any of this. MOST important stop looking at Anaheim hills when we have high winds your know your way is a joke your a Linda was on fire
villa park is on fire orange park aces is on fire not just Anaheim hills it’s a absolute trap. Your looking at populations form 3/4 cities trying to escape all at once and
that has never once been recognized or addressed other then fire narshall acknowledging the issue. You can not outrun a fire when everything is on fire riverbed
surrounding the freeway too it was all shut down there is no escape to our neighboring cities they were also on fire, you need to look beyond our own city just as
Yorba Linda just ruled No last month.
