wanted to reach out to you and see if you or a loved one has been affected by incre a sed prices.
You can submit your story here.
As we consider this important topic in Congress, I want to hear from you.

Subject:[EXTERNAL] Wrapping up 2025
Warning: This email originated from outside the City of Anaheim. Do not click links or open attachments unless you

Dear Neighbor,
As Congress concludes the last week of legislative work for the year, I’m proud to head home after a
year of achievements—and spend more time in our community. Looking back on the year, it’s hard to
believe it’s only been 12 months. Since January, we’ve seen changes to immigration policies, the
economy, and the federal government. These changes have impacted each and every one of us. I
understand if, for many, this has meant a challenging year. But as we celebrate the holidays and
spend time with our families, I wanted to highlight some of the positive work our office was able to
accomplish.
SE RVING MY CO NSTITUE NTS
I’ve always been committed to serving my neighbors and making sure people in our community can
get the help they need when it matters most. Constituent services are at t he heart of the w ork my
offices in Orange County and Washington, D.C., do every day. This year alone, my office handled w ell
over 1,000 constituent cases, helping families resolve passport delays, supporting seniors accessing
Social Security and Medicare, assisting veterans with earned benefits, and helping neighbors navigate
complex immigration issues. Whether it’s a parent trying to travel for a family emergency or a senior
waiting on a critical benefit, my team and I work directly with federal agencies t o cut through red tape
and deliver results. Serving our community means showing up, listening, and making government
work for the people it’s meant to serve.
BRINGING TAX DO LLARS BACK HOM E
As you may already know, the federal budget signed into law this summer included historic cuts to
federal funding across agencies, programs, and industries. Even amid these reductions, my office
remained focused on delivering results for constituents. Through direct casew ork, I w as able to bring
$2,963,937 of your federal tax dollars back home to our community. This casework included helping
seniors access delayed Social Security and Medicare benefits, assisting veterans in securing earned
disability compensation and health care services, supporting families navigat ing FEMA and disaster-
relief assistance, and resolving tax, passport, and immigration issues that can cause significant
financial and personal hardship when left unaddressed. At a time when federal resources are
increasingly limited, this work ensured that taxpayer dollars were returned to the people they w ere
intended to serve.
BRING ING OC TO DC - LEGISLATION
Delivering results for our community also means advancing strong, effective legislation. This year, I
introduced 10 bills and co-sponsored 218 pieces of legislation, working across the aisle to move
policies forward. This legislation covers common-sense policies that help working families, stand up
for immigrants’ rights, support law enforcement to keep us safe, and lower costs. Tw o of my two
bipartisan bills passed on the House floor, with one bill being signed into law, goes to show that
collaboration can still produce real results. In addition, I authored or co-led 69 le tte rs to federal
agencies and congressional leadership, co-signed 207 letters, and signed onto 27 amicus briefs to
advocate for constituents and uphold the rule of law. Together, this work reflects a consistent
commitment to using every available tool—legislative oversight, and advocacy—to deliver for the
people of our district.
CO NNE CT ING WIT H O UR DISTRICT
This year, I received more than 50,000 messages from constituents across our, covering issues such
as immigration concerns, access to affordable health care, questions about navigating federal
agencies, and advocacy for education, natural resources, tax fairness, and economic opportunity.
These messages reflect the wide range of perspectives and priorities that make our district strong.
Whether you reached out in support, with questions, or in disagreement, I take all of your perspectives
seriously. No matter what you believe , I’m proud to represent everyone in our district.
As we approach the holidays, if you or a loved one has been detained by immigration officers or
if you see anything out of the ordinary, please contact my office. You ca n ca ll us at 714-559-
6190 or email us at CorreaTips@mail.house.gov.
As always, I am committed to serving you, advocating for issues that mat ter to our community, and
connecting you to important resources. If you are experiencing any issues w it h a federal agency, my
office is here to help. Give us a call at (714) 559-6190.
Sincerely,
Rep. Lou Correa

Subject:[EXTERNAL] Statement on U.S. Military Activity in Venezuela
Warning: This email originated from outside the City of Anaheim. Do not click links or open attachments unless you
recognize the sender and are expecting the message.
Dear Neighbor,
Early Saturday morning, I was awakened by news of U.S. military activit y in Venezuela. Today, as I
travel to D.C., I am once again questioning the role of our nation’s involvement in Venezuela follow ing
the removal of illegitimately-elected President Maduro.
Venezuela used to be one of the world’s wealthiest countries, rich with crude oil reserves. Under
Maduro, Venezuela became one of the world’s poorest nations. Seven million Venezuelans left the
country due to oppression and starvation. In 2024, Maduro claimed victory in an election international
observers declared as fraudulent. Make no mistake, Maduro was an unfit leader and caused
Venezuela significant harm.
But the United States has a long history with regime changes. Most recent ly, we w ent into Iraq and
Afghanistan, spending trillions of dollars and costing thousands of American lives. The results w ere
not as expected. I am considering the role of the United States’ involvement in Venezuela’s regime
change with these experiences in mind.
President Trump claims that the U.S. will oversee the regime change and is calling for further U.S.
involvement in the country’s oil management. For months, the Trump administ ration has used military
force without Congressional approval, under the guise of stopping the flow of drugs into our country
to justify his questionable use of force.
Congress plays a critical role in ensuring America’s best interest is kept. In December, I voted yes on a
War Powers resolution that reasserts Congress’ authority to ensure our milit ary force is being
appropriately used. Now it’s up to the Senate to assure that only Congress has the power to declare
war. I am committed to representing my constituents in these public policy decisions that have
profound consequences–both home and abroad.
As I work with my colleagues in Congress, I will keep your thoughts in mind. Please share your
comments and concerts on this critical matter. My job is to bring your voice t o Washington, and I want
to continue hearing from you as Congress considers taking action.
As always, I am committed to serving you, advocating for issues that mat ter to our community, and
connecting you to important resources. If you are experiencing any issues w it h a federal agency, my
office is here to help. Give us a call at (714) 559-6190.
