Dear City Council M ember - City of Anaheim
Oppose High Density Apartments at The Festival Center
I’m w riting this letter as a good neighbor and responsible citizen, living in Anaheim Hills since 1993 (more
than 32 years)
I am w riting to call your attention to a proposed ~450+ unit apartment complex at the Festival shopping
center. Shea P roperties seeks approval from the Anaheim City Council
Those of us that lived in Anaheim Hills during the fire evacuation of 2017 w ill recall the utter traffic
gridlock in our streets. The drive from Belsomet to Santa Ana Canyon took more than 45 minutes!
Consider how adding another ~1000+ cars to this area might impact our collective ability to evacuate
safely in another fire.
The City Council w ill vote on this project on TUESDAY, JANUARY 13, 5 P M at Anaheim City Council
Chambers.
