Good afternoon Mayor Aitken and Members of the Anaheim City Council,
I am writing to request transparency and accountability on the death of Anaheim resident Albert Arzola who was unjustly
shot and killed by an Anaheim police officers gang unit. I demand the full, unedited body cameras footage from all
officers.
Albert was ambushed by two Anaheim PD officers who leapt out of an unmarked vehicle with guns drawn and chased him
to his house. One officer shot him in the back, killing him in front of his family.
Albert was only 19-years-old and recently graduated from Katella High School. He worked in the city of Anaheim and
aspired to pursue a career in culinary arts. He was a beloved son, family member and friend with a bright future ahead of
him. Albert should be alive today!
I request the full, unedited body camera video and audio of all officers from the incident. This is the first step to
understand what happened the night of his death with full transparency. The public has a right to know. Justice for Albert
Arzola!
