RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE
WHEREAS, Donald E. Frisbee, as owner of certain real
property situated at 1239 North Palm Street, in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as R- S- 10 -24, Lot
6, Miles Rancho, has filed with the City Planning Commission of the
City of Anaheim a petition requesting that a variance be granted
permitting him to build a ranch type structure for a shop to sell
Square Dance Supplies; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from consideration and
investigation of the facts and the report and recommendation of the
City Planning Commission that:
(1) Special circumstances and exceptional conditions
do exist as to the property or classes of uses in the same zone or
district;
(2) That a variance is necessary for the preservation
and enjoyment of a substantial property right of said petitioner;
(3) That the granting of such conditional variance
will not be detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to the
property or improvements in the district wherein said property is
located, provided the conditions hereinafter set forth are complied
with:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, that a conditional variance be, and the same
is hereby granted. to Donald E. Frisbee for the building of a ranch
type structure for a shop to sell Square Dance Supplies, upon the
following conditions:
1. That any buildings or improvements erected upon sai
property shall be set back 60 feet from the center of the street or
roadway in front of said building.
2. That said business shall be operated in accordance;;
with all laws of the State of California and Ordinances and Regula

tions of the City of Anaheim.
3. That the appearance of said real property, includ-
ing all buildings thereon shall be kept and maintained with a satis-
factory appearance in keeping with the uses herein permitted.
4. That the maintenance and operation of said build-
ing shall comply with all requirements of the Chief of the Fire De-
partment of the City of Anaheim as to safety.and fire prevention.
5. That the City Council hereby reserves the right to
revoke said variance nermit for good cause.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me
this llth day of October 1949.
