RESOLUTION ADOPTING WAGE SCALE FOR PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACTS
BE IT RESOLVED BY TH3 CITY COUJNCIL OF THE CITY 0P ANAHEIM that in accordance
With the provisions of Section 1770 of the Labor Code of the State of California,
said City Council has ascertained the general prevailing rate of hourly wages and
rates for legal holiday and overtime work for each craft or type of laborer, work-
man or mechanic needed for the execution of public work contracts within said City
said prevailing rates so determined being as follows:

The foregoing wage scales are for an eight hour day, forty hour week, time
and oneMhalf for overtime and double time Sundays and legal holidays, except as
otherwise provided in the May 20, 1948, revision of the ,.G.C..4.7.11. Southern
California Master I+abor Agreement and Supplements, which shall govern for such
overtime and double time pay and for the wage scale for foremen not otherwise
listed above.

Properly indentured apprentices to any of the trades listed above may be
employed upon the project with skilled workmen subject to the provisions of Sec.'
tion 1777.5 of the California Labor Code, the wage rate for such apprentices to
be determined as provided in said section.
The foregoing Resolution is approved and signed this 14th day of June, 1949.
