RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE
WHEREAS, G. Harvey DeGroff and Mary C. DeGroff, as owners of
certain real property situated at 813 North Los Angeles Street, in
the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, describe
as part of Lot 42, Anaheim Extension, have filed with the City
Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim a petition requesting
that a variance be granted for the operation of a Delicatessen with
Beer and Wine package sales on said real property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from consideration and investi-
gation of the facts and the sentiments expressed by persons residing
in the vicinity of said real property that
(1) Special circumstances and exceptional conditions do
exist as to the property or classes of uses in the same zone or
district;
(2) That a variance is necessary for the preservation and en-
joyment of a substantial property right of said petitioner;
(3) That the granting of such conditional variance will not
be detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to the property
or improvements in the district wherein said property is located,
provided the conditions hereinafter set forth are complied with:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM, that a conditional variance be, and the same is hereby
granted to G. Harvey DeGroff and Mary C. DeGroff for the operation
of a Delicatessen with Beer and. Wine package sales, upon the follow-
ing conditions:
1. That G. Harvey DeGroff and Mary C. DeGroff obtain a retail
package Off -Sale Beer and Wine license for the premises at 813 North
Los Angeles Street from the Board of Equalization of the State of
California.
2. That said business shall be operated in accordance with
all laws of the State of California and Ordinances and Regulations

of the City of Anaheim.
3. That the appearance of said real property, including all
buildings thereon shall be kept and maintained with a satisfactory
appearance in keeping with the uses herein permitted.
4. That the maintenance and operation of said buildings
shall comply with all requirements of the Chief of the Fire Depart-
ment of the City of Anaheim as to safety and fire prevention.
5. That the City Council hereby reserves the right to revoke
said variance permit for good cause.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this
