RESOLUTION NO. 1642
RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE
WHEREAS, M. M. Sell, as owner of certain real property situated
on the south side of Romneya Drive approximately 472 feet west of
Palm Street on the westerly 528 feet of the northerly 100 feet of
Lot 12, Miles Rancho in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California, has filed with the City Planning Commission of the
City of Anaheim, a petition requesting that a variance be granted
permitting the establishment of a trailer park on said real property,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds fromiamsideration and
investigation of the facts and the report and recommendation of
the City Planning Commission that:
(1) Special circumstances and exceptional conditions do
exist as to the above described real property that do not apply
generally to the property or classes of uses in the same zone or
district;
(2) That a variance is necessary for the preservation and
enjoyment of a substantial property right of said petitioner;
(3) That the granting of such conditional variance will not
be detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to the property
or improvements in the district wherein said property is located,
provided the conditions hereinafter set forth are complied with:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE I T RESOLVED BY THE' CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM, that aconditional variance be, and the same is
hereby granted to M. M. Sells whereby a Trailer Park may be estab—
lished on the south side of Romneya Drive approximately 472 feet
west of Palm Street on the westerly 528 feet of the northerly 100
feet of Lot 12, Miles Rancho, upon the following conditions:
1. That said business shall be operated in accordance with
all laws of the State of California and Ordinances and Regulations
of the City of Anaheim.

2. That the appearance of said real property, including all
buildings and improvements thereon shall be kept and maintained
with a satisfactory appearance in keeping with the uses herein
permitted.
3. That the maintenance and operation of said Trailer Park
shall comply with all requirements of the Chief of the Fire Depart-
ment of the City of Anaheim as to safety and fire prevention.
4. That the City Council hereby reserves the right to revoke
said variance permit for good cause.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this
14th day of December, 1948.
