RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY APPROVING A DISPOSITION AND DEVEL-
OPMENT AGREEMENT WITH ANAHEIM
BEAUTIFUL, INC., AND MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS
IN CONNECTION THEREWITH
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency") is engaged in
implementation of the Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment Project Alpha (the
"Redevelopment Project");
WHEREAS, in furtherance of the Redevelopment Project, the Agency proposes to
enter with Anaheim Beautiful, Inc. CAnaheim Beautiful") into that certain Disposition and
Development Agreement dated as of January 11, 2000, a copy of which is on file in the
office of the Secretary of the Agency (the "Agreement");
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Agreement, (a) Agency would sell to Anaheim
Beautiful and Anaheim Beautiful would purchase from Agency that certain historical single
family residence commonly known as 403 East Broadway, Anaheim, California (the
"Property"), (b) Anaheim Beautiful would substantially rehabilitate the Property, and
(c) upon completion of that rehabilitation, Anaheim Beautiful would sell the Property for
owner-occupancy to a person or family of low or moderate-income at affordable cost;
WHEREAS, the Agreement contains all of the conditions, covenants and restrictions
required by the Community Redevelopment Law;
WHEREAS, the project described above consists of the restoration or rehabilitation
of a deteriorated structure to meet current standards of public health and safety;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has authorized, or concurrently
herewith will authorize, the sale of the Property by the Agency as a "Small Housing Project"
pursuant to subdivision (c)( 1 ) of Section 33433 of the Health and Safety Code; and
WHEREAS, the Agency, pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 33431, has
held a public hearing on the sale of the Property pursuant to the Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Anaheim Redevelopment
Agency as follows:

1. The Agency hereby finds that the project represented by the Agreement is
categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to Section
15301 of the State CEQA Guidelines.
2. The Agency hereby finds that the Agreement is consistent with the
Implementation Plan for the Redevelopment Project.
3. The Agency hereby approves the Agreement.
4. The Agency hereby authorizes both the Chairman and the Executive Director
to (a) sign the Agreement, and (b) take all actions and sign all documents and instruments
as may be necessary or desirable to implement and carry out the Agreement on behalf of the
Agency.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the Anaheim
