RESOLUTION NO. 1604
RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE
WHEREAS, Nancy Ann Moore, as owner, and P. 0. Wells, as
tenant of certain real property situated at 321 South Olive Stree
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
described as Lot 10, Block L, Center Tract, has filed with the
City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim, a petition
requesting that a variance be granted permitting the use of the
building located on said real property for a mailing and telephon
address for promoting sales of window checks; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from(consideration and
investigation of the facts and the report and recommendation of
the City Planning Commission that:
(1) Special circumstances and exceptional conditions do
exist as to the above described real property that•do not apply
generally to the property or classes of uses in the same zone or
district;
(2) That a variance is necessary for the preservation and
enjoyment of a substantial property right of said petitioners;
(3) That the granting of such conditional variance will not
be detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to the property
or improvements in the district wherein said property is located,
provided the conditions hereinafter set forth are complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM, that a conditional variance be, and the same is
hereby granted to Nancy Ann Moore and P. 0. Wells whereby the
building located on said real property may be used for a mailing
and telephone address for promoting sales of window checks, upon
the following conditions:
1. That said business shall be operated in accordance with
all laws of the State of California and Ordinances and Regulations
of the City of Anaheim.

2. That the appearance of said real property including
all buildings thereon shall be kept and maintained with a
satisfactory appearance in keeping with the use herein permitted.
3. That the maintenance sad operation of said business
shall comply with all requirements of the Chief of the Fire
Department of the City of Anaheim as to safety and fire prevention
4. That the rights of adjoining property owners not be af-
fected.
5. That in the conduct of said business, no manufacturing
shall be conducted.
6. That there shall be no outdoor advertising erected on
the premises.
7. That the City Council hereby reserves the right to revoke
said variance permit for good cause.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this
27th day of April, 1948.
