RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE
WHEREAS, S. C. LINDSAY and MONA LINDSAY, ownere of certain
real property located at 832 No. Lemon Street, in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as
Lot 5 and the Northerly 20 feet of Lot 6 of Tract No. 169 "Bellair
Tract as per map thereof recorded in Book 12 at page 23, of
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said Orange County, California,have
filed with the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim,
a petition requesting that a variance be granted permitting them
to construct a small house about 32 feet by 28 feet on the front
of the southerly 40 feet of said above described property, and a
one car garage on the back of said lot; and
WHEREAS, the above described real property is situated in
an R -1 Zone, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from consideration and
investigation of the facts and the report and recommendation of
the City Planning Commission that:
(1) Special circumstances and exceptional conditions do
exist as to the above described real property that do not apply
generally to the property or classes of uses in the same zone or
district.
(2) That a variance is necessary for the preservation
and enjoyment of a substantial property right of said petitioners.
(3) That the granting of such conditional variance will
not be detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to the pro-
nerty or improvements in the district wherein said property is
located, provided the conditions hereinafter set forth are com-
plied with, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has recommended the
granting of this variance for uses specified in Section (e) of
the Application;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE I T RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM, that a conditional variance be,and the same is
hereby granted to S. C. Lindsay and Mona Lindsay to construct a
small house about 32 feet by 28 feet on the front of the southerly
40 feet of said above described property, and a one car garage on
the back of said. lot, upon the following conditions:
1. That the appearance of said real property, including all
buildings and improvements thereon shall be kept and maintained
with a satisfactory apoeara:nce in keeping with the use herein
permitted.
2. That all requirements of the Chief of the Fire Department
of the City of Anaheim as to safety and fire prevention be complied
with.
3. That the City Council hereby reserves the right to revoke
said variance permit for good cause.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this
