1 RESOLUTION NO. 1575
A RESOLUTION OF TdE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING A LEASE FOR ONE
YEAR UPON REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF SUCH
LEASE AND PROVIDING FOR THE TERMS THEREOF.
AREAS, A. S. Toussau having submitted to the City Council
of the City of Anaheim an offer to lease the hereinafter described
real property belonging to the City of Anaheim for a term of one
year at the annual rental of Seventy —five ($75.00) Dollars, payable
in advance; and
WHEREAS, it appearing to the City Council that the City of
Anaheim has no immediate need for the use of said property and that
it would be to the advantage of the City of Anaheim to accept said
offer and lease said property to said A. S. Toussau with the
reservation for cancellation and termination of said lease upon a
ninety (90) day written notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of said A. S. Toussau to lease the
hereinafter described property for the term of one year for an
annual rental of Seventy —five (475.00) Dollars, payable in advance,
be and the same is hereby accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, subject to the right of the City Council to terininat4
said lease upon a ninety (90) day written notice; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized to execute and deliver to said
A. S. Toussau a written lease upon the terms and the rental and upon
the conditions herein specified, leasing to him the following
described real property:
A tract of land in the County of Orange, State of
California, being a portion of Lot 18, Anaheim Extension,
as shown on a map made by William Hamel and filed in the
office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County,
California, said tract being more particularly described
as follows:

Beginning at the northwesterly corner of said Lot 18,
thence Southwardly along the westerly line of said Lot 18,
a distance of 825 feet; thence Eastwardly, parallel with
the northerly line of said Lot 18, a distance of
1237.81 feet to the east line of said Lot 18;
thence Northwardly along said east line of Lot 18
a distance of 855.94 feet to the northeast corner
of said Lot 18; thence Westwardly along the northerly
line of said Lot 18 a distance of 938.52 feet; thence
Southwardly, parallel with the westerly line of said Lot 18
a distance if 385.86 feet; thence Westwardly, parallel with
said Northerly line of said Lot 18, a distance of
508 feet; theme Northwardly, parallel with said westerly
line of said Lot 18, a distance of 385.86 feet; thence
westwardly along said northerly line of said Lot 18,
a distance of 20 feet to the place of beginning.
Excepting therefrom, those portions of said tract
included within Vermont Avenue and Placentia Avenue.
Also excepting, for purposes of this lease, certain
areas now used by the City of Anaheim for dump grounds
and sand pit, containing an area of 3.40 acres.
SUBJECT to conditions, restrictions, a as4ments,
reservations and rights of way of record.
The foregoing Resolution is signed and approved by me this
28th day of October, 1947.

adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
