RESOLUTION NO. 1546
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDATORY
CONTRACT WITH FEDERAL PUBLIC HOUSING AUTHORITY
TO PROVIDE FOR ADOPTION OF ALTERNATE PLAN N0.1.
WHEREAS, on April 2, 1946, the City of Anaheim entered into a
contract with the United States of America, acting by and through
the Federal Public Housing Authority, to provide temporary housing
pursuant to TITLE V (as amended) of the LANHAM ACT, which contract
is numbered HA(V.3g6)mphi1 and established certain regulations for
the operation and management of Project No. CAL. V -4386; and
WHEREAS, said Federal Public Housing Authority has issued
optional amended regulations under the designation of Alternate Plan
No. 1, for such local agencies as desire to adopt the same for the
operation and management of their housing projects, and said City of
Anaheim desires to secure the benefits of operating its housing pro-
ject under such amended regulations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counoil of the City
of Anaheim that it adopt said Alternate Plan No.1 for the operation
and management of Project No. CAL V -4386; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be and
they are hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of said City, that
certain Amendatory Contract consisting of five pages on Form 'PHA.
SP«4481* and entitled
"AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT WITH LOCAL BODY FOR PROVIDING
HOUSING PURSUANT TO TITLE V OF THE LANHAM ACT, AS
AMENDED, TO ESTABLISH MINIMUM RENTS; TO PROVIDE FOR
RESERVES FOR REPAIRS, MAINTENANCE AND REPLACEMENTS;
AND TO CLARIFY THE TERM OF SUCH CONTRACT."
The foregoing Resolution is approved and signed by me this
27th day of May, 1947.
