My name is Hai Tang, a resident of Garden Grove, CA, 92844. I have
registered with numerous agencies, but most of them only lure me into
registering and then force me to wait six months before my registration
expires, and I haven't had a job for nearly three years. I'm only looking
for light work, but every time I call, the staff suggests I register, saying
there are many jobs available. After I register, they make up excuses like
there are no jobs or they become rude and hang up, acting like scammers
trying to collect information because they have all my information such as
my SSN, driver's license, residency status, and phone number – they know
everything.
In the past, I worked for a few hours at the in Anaheim
through Bluecrew. I don't know the name of the young, rude, and unethical
female manager, whether she was from I suspect she was
younger than me and acted defiantly and deceitfully. While I was working,
Bluecrew asked me to leave, citing only that there was no more work, and
also discriminated against me. Since then, she has locked my account and
prevented me from working there. Bluecrew has a policy that prohibits any
employee who violates any serious rules from working with Bluecrew or its
partner but I did nothing wrong. The problem is that she didn't
clearly state what I did wrong and why she was so unpleasant and
discriminatory towards me, an Asian person. She was of Latino or Mexican
origin. In California, outside of a court of law, no one has the right to
prevent someone from working to support themselves. You must prove that
OC3PL had no more work, but I and 15 other people were working, and the
young, inexperienced managers who hadn't even finished college were causing
trouble. OC3PL cannot continue to entrust a company with jobs to these young
managers because they don't know how to manage and are ruining the work and
lives of older people. A few days later, I checked the app and received a
notification that an employee had reported me and banned me for unclear
reasons. If OC3PL claims there is no more work, why don't they close the
company? On the contrary, they are hiring more warehouse staff, and their
company parking lot is always full of nearly 500 cars six days a week –
that's strange! If you say there's no more work and continue to discriminate
against me, I suggest that the city of Anaheim investigate and review the
company's tax reports and employment practices to see if they are
legitimate. This matter should be handled by a director who can fire me for
a valid reason, not by a manager sitting in an office who has no right or
authority to ban and fire me. I hope OC3PL will find a suitable company
soon. Other companies cooperate honestly and help people, but BlueCrew's bad
habits and harmful practices are unacceptable. IStaffing is very honest, and
their older employees are very decent. I hope OC3PL will soon find IStaffing
and sign a cooperation contract, because Bluecrew is too troublesome and
doesn't allow for peaceful work throughout the year. Their management is
mostly young, and their ethics and competence are terrible; it's exhausting.
