RESOWTION GRANTING A VARIANCE.
WHEREAS, Lawrence P. Kraemer, owner of certain real pro-
perty situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, described as the basement of the Angelina Hotel, 2711
East Center Street and being located on Lot 11, Re -Sub. of Block
"F" of Vineyard Lot "D --3 has filed with the City Planning Com-
mission of the City of Anaheim a petition requesting that a vari-
ance be granted permitting the operation of the business of manu-
facturing Women's Wear on said real property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from consideration and
investigation of the facts and the report and recommendations of
the City Planning Commission that
(1) Special circumstances and exceptional conditions do exist
as to the above described real property that do not apply general'
to the property or classes of uses in the same zone or district.
(2) That a variance is necessary for the preservation and
enjoyment of a substantial property right of said petitioner.
(3) That the granting of such conditional variance will not
be detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to the property
or improvements in the district wherein said property is located,
provided the conditions hereinafter set forth are complied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, that a conditional variance be, and the same
is hereby granted whereby the business of m.nufotgring Women's
Wear may be maintained and operated upon said real property upon
the following conditions:
1. That said business shall be operated in accordance
with all laws of the State of California and ordinances and regu-
lations of the City of Anaheim.
2. That the appearance of said real property including
all improvements thereon shall be kept and maintained with a satis

factory appearance in keeping with the use herein permitted.
The foregoing resolution is signed and approved by me
this 22nd day of October, 1946.
