RESOLUTION NO. 1402
RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE.
Whereas the owner of certain real property situated in the
City of Anaheim, Orange County, California, described as a portion
of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 3,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian,
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, and
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the East line of North Lemon Street,
which point is N- 0 01'- 05m -E. 557.00 feet and East 30.00 feet from
the southwest corner of said quarter quarter section; thence N -0
01#- 05 -E, along said East line of North Lemon Street,350.00 feet;
thence East 160.00 feet; thence S- 0 01'- 05" -W, parallel with said
East line of North Lemon Street, 350.00 feet; thence West 160.00
feet to the point of beginning; has filed with the City Planning
Commission of the City of Anaheim a petition requesting that a vari-
ance be granted permitting the operation of a Trucking Company with
buildings upon said real property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from consideration and investi-
gation of the facts and the report and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission that:
(1) Special eieumstances and exceptional conditions do exist
as to the above described real property that do not apply generally
to the property or classes of uses in the same zone or district.
(2) That a variance is necessary for the preservation and en-
joyment of a substantial property right of said petitioner.
(3) That the granting of such conditional variance will not be
detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to the property or
improvements in the district wherein said property is located, pro-
vided the conditions hereinafter set forth are complied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM, that a conditional variance is hereby granted whereby a
Trucking Company with buildings and land to be used for the location
and operation of said Trucking Business operated upon said real pro-
perty upon the following oonditions:

Subject to a set —back of 55 feet from the center line of North
Lemon Street, and that the type, materials and general appearance of
structures erected upon the property above described be in keeping
with those already erected in this block, with fronts of stucco or
glass.
The foregoing Resolution was approved and signed by me this
3rd day of September, 1946.

NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT AND NOT VOTING: COUNCILMAN: Roney.
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
approved and signed said Resolution on the 3rd day of September,1946.
