That there is now in existence a fund known as "Meter Deposit Fund 2. That the name of said "Meter Deposit Fund" is hereby changed to "Meter Deposit Trust Fund 3. That a commercial account shall be opened with the Anaheim Branch of Bank'of America National Trust and Savings Asso- ciation which shall be known as "City of Anaheim Meter Deposit Trust Fund"; 4. That all funds deposited in said account shall be sub- ject to withdrawal by checks ,jointly signed by the City Treasurer and the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim; 5. That for the purposes provided by the immediate pre- ceding sentence, the term "City Treasurer" shall be deemed to includ any Deputy City Treasurer authorized by said City Council to sign such checks; and the term "City Clerk" shall be deemed to include any Deputy City Clerk authorized by said City Council to sign such checks; 6. That all moneys hereafter deposited with the Public Service Department as security for the payment of any charges au- thorized by Ordinances No. 626 and No. 703 of the City of Anaheim, or by any resolution of said City Council adopted pursuant thereto, shall be delivered to the City Treasurer within 24 hours after re- ceipt of same and shall be by said Treasurer forthwith deposited in said account known as "City of Anaheim Meter Deposit Trust Fund 7. That all funds now in the general bank account of the City of Anaheim belonging to that fund heretofore known as "Meter Deposit Fund" shall be forthwith transferred to and deposited in said account known as "City of Anaheim Meter Deposit Trust Fund 8. That monies in said account known as "City of Anaheim Meter Deposit Trust Fund" may be withdrawn from said account by said 1 1 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 City Treasurer and City Clerk and disbursed as follows: (a) When any account, for which any deposit has been made, has been closed, and all monies due thereon have been paid, the amount of such deposit shall be delivered to the person entitled thereto; (b) When any account for which any deposit has been made, has become delinquent, so much of such deposit as is necessary to cover the amount of delinquency shall be delivered to said Public Service Department; (c) When any account for which any deposit has been made, has been closed, and the person entitled to return of such deposit or any balance thereof remaining, fails to claim the same, the amount thereof shall be delivered into the General Fund of the City upon direction of said City Council.
