1946-14681 2 3 WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of that certain 4 real property situated in the City of Anaheim, Orange County, California, and described as: 6 A tract of land in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, being a portion of the SW -i- of the SE- 7 of Section 3, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, San Ber- nardino Base and Meridian, and more particularly described 8 as follows: 5 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 ,16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 Beginning at a point on the north line of East La Palma Avenue, which point is 30 feet north of the monumented center line of said East La Palma Avenue and 230.18 feet eastwardly measured along said north line, from the monu- mented center line of North Olive Street; thence East along said north line of East La Palma Avenue a distance of 116.69 feet to a point; thence Yorthwardly along a line parallel to the monumented center line of North Clive Street a distance of 201.67 feet to a point; thence West along a line parallel to the north line of East La Palma Avenue a distance of 116.69 feet to a point; thence Southwardly along a line parallel to the monu- mented center line of North Olive Street a distance of 201.67 feet to the Point of beginning, containing an area of 0.54 acres, more or less. City of Anaheim has no use for said property or any part thereof for public purposes, and the City Council thereof finds that it is for the best interests of said Cit that said property should be sold and conveyeo public owner- ship in order that the same may again be placed upon the tax rolls of said City and of the County of Orange, and WHEREAS, Williams Manufacturing Co., a general nertnershi composed of Grant Williams, Rose E. Williams, Kenneth Williams, Vera Hahne, Margueritte Baker, and Reese Baker has offered said City the sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) for said property. NOW, THEREFCRE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, that it does hereby sell said property to said Williams Manufacturing Co., subject to conditions, restrictions, RESOLUTION NO. 1 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 reservations and rights of way of record, and subject to any taxes for the fiscal year 1946-1947, and that the Mayor and the City Clerk of said City of Anaheim are hereby authorized to make, execute and deliver unto said Williams Ianufacturing Co. the deed of said City of Anaheim granting said real property to said. WilliamyManu- facturing Co., subject to conditions, restrictions, reservations and rights of way of record, and subject to any taxes for the fiscal year 1946-1947.
