A RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE.
RESOLUTION NO. /4
WHEREAS, the owners of that certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, Orange County, California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the east property line of North Lemon
Street, which point is 120 feet north and 30 feet east from the
intersection of the new monumented center line of North Los
Angeles Street with the monumented center line of said North
Lemon Street; thence East 160 feet; thence North 135 feet;
thence West 160 feet; thence South along said east property
line of North Lemon Street 135 feet to the point of beginning,
have filed with the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
a petition requesting that a variance be granted permitting the
manufacture of electric motors, electrical appliances, electrical
apparatus, motorized transmissions, gear reducers and parts, and for
offices in connection therewith; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from consideration and in-
vestigation of the facts and the report and recommendation of the
City Planning Commission that:
(1) Special circumstances and exceptional conditions do exist
as to said real property that do not apply generally to the property
or classes of uses in the same zone or district.
(2) That a variance is necessary for the preservation and enjoy
ment of a substantial property right of said petitioners.
(3) That the granting of such conditional variance will not be
detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to the property or
improvements in the district wherein said property is located.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM, that a variance is hereby granted whereby the above
described real property may be used for the manufacture of electric
motors, electrical appliances, electrical apparatus, motorized trans
missions, gear reducers and parts and for offices in connection
therewith.
The foregoing Resolution is signed and approved by me this
