IN THE MATTER OF POST WAR PLAN PREPARATION REIMBURSEMENT.
WS, the State of California under Chapter 47, Statutes of
1944, (Extra Session) has appropriated funds for allotment by
the Director of Finance to provide finanoial assistance to Local
Agencies defined therein as counties, cities or cities and counties
for the purpose of defraying not to exceed one-half the oost of pre-
paring engineering field surveys, engineering or architectural de-
signs, and working and detailed drawings and specifications (herein-
after galled "Plans") required for post -war public works projects
described as specific projects in said Act and
WHEREAS the City of Anaheim, hereinafter designated as "Loma Agency desires to apply to the Director of Finance and /or the Post
War Public Works Review Board, as the case may be, for allotments
of the State's share of the estimated cost of preparing the oompleted
plans hereinafter mentioned and there has been prepared and presented
to this Legislative Body for oonsideration nine applications for such
purposes; and
WAS, Local Agency has provided, or will make available upon
approval of the aforementioned applications, sufficient funds to
prepare the completed plans herein mentioned
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Local Agency submit the afore-
said applications to the Director of Finance and /or the Post War Public
Works Review Hoard, as the case may be, requesting certain allotments
of funds as shown in the following schedule, or such amounts as may
be approved by the Director of Finance and /or the Post War Publio
Works Review Board, for the purpose of defraying a part of the cost
of preparing completed plans required for the specific projects to be
undertaken by Looal Agency, as follows:
1.-- Additions and Extensions to Water Distribution System:
Allotment requested, Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($750.00); estimated
oost of plans, Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00).
2.- Storm Drain: Allotment requested, Thirteen Hundred Twenty
Dollars ($1,320.00)• estimated cost of plans, Twenty -six Hundred
Forty Dollars ($2,640.00).
3.- Elevated Water Storage Tank: Allotment requested, Twenty-
two Hundred Fifty Dollars 00 estimated cost of plans,
Forty five Hundred Dollars ($4,500.00).
4.- Street Improvements: Allotment requested, Eleven Hundred
Forty Dollars ($1,140.00); estimated cost of plans, Twenty -two Hundred
Eighty Dollars ($2,250.00).
5.. Industrial Waste Treatment Plant: Allotment requested,
Thirteen Hundred Fifty Dollars ($1,350.00); estimated cost of plans,
Twenty -seven Hundred Dollars ($2,700.00).
6.- Fire Station: Allotment requested, Nine Hundred Dollars
($900.00); estimated cost of plans, Eighteen Hundred Dollars ($1,800.00).
7.«- Extensions to Sanitary Sewer System, including Metering
Station: Allotment requested, Five Hundred Forty Dollars ($540.00);
estimated cost of plans, One Thousand Eighty Dollars ($1,050.00).
S.- Park Improvements: Allotment.; requested, Three Hundred
Dollars ($300.00); estimated cost of plans, Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00).
9.- Equipment Shed: Allotment requested, Ninety Dollars ($90.00);
estimated cost of plans, One Hundred Eighty Dollars ($1$0.00).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Local Agency has made provision for
paying one-half, or more, of the cost of preparing said completed
plans, its request for allotment for each of said pro3eots being not
more than one --half the cost of preparing such plans, respectively.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that for the purposes of these applica-
tions, E. P. HApgood, City Engineer, City Hall, Anaheim, California,
be and he hereby is designated as the authorized agent of Local Agenoy
and is hereby authorized and directed to sign the above- mentioned ap-
plications on behalf of the Local Agency and submit the same to the
Director of Finance and/or the Post War Public Works Review Board
together with a certified statement of the estimated cost of preparing
such plans and suoh other information as may be required; and said
authorized agent is further authorized and directed as the representa-
tive of Local Agency to conduct all negotiations and conclude all
arrangements, inoluding submission to the Director of Finance of ap-
plications for reimbursement, which may be neoessary to secure reim-
bursement for the Staters share of the expenditures made in preparing
said oompleted plans.
The foregoing Resolution is approved and signed by me this 9th
