As City Council members we believe your foremost duty is to protect the public, your constituents. The city’s Strategic Plan cites INFRASTRUCTURE and PUBLIC SAFETY Unless this STRATEGIC PLAN is a lie, YOU MUST VOTE NO! We do not believe any additional building be considered until the infrastructure is improved including the Fairmont overpass. Changing the zoning from commercial to residential severely impacts traffic in a disaster. People go home to get loved ones then evacuate.
