Mayor Aitken and Members of the Anaheim City Council,
I demand jus tice for the police killing of Albert Arzola. I demand the full, unedited body camera footage from all officers (and frankly i’m not s ure why you haven’t
been compelled to s hare it with the family yet), the immediate releas e of the autops y report, the names of the officers involved, and the immediate firing of the officer
who s hot Albert to death.
Albert was ambus hed by two Anaheim PD officers who leapt out of an unmarked vehicle and chased him to his hous e. One officer s hot him in the back, killing him in
front of his family. They threatened to s hoot his family and delayed medical attention for ten minutes then dragged Albert’s lifeles s body onto the s idewalk.
Albert graduated from my s chool Katella. He was a hard-working kid of Anaheim who took pride in his job and as pired to a career in culinary arts . He was a beloved
s on, clas s mate and friend with a bright future ahead of him.
During my time at Katella, we had chain s uicides after we los t a clas s mate in which more than 4 children died. If you really actually truly, care about our youth you
would take a very huge look at the way you treat them and s et them up for death. Think about how many people will be crumbled becaus e of this los s . Think about
the pers on you love mos t, s uddenly dying. Would there be a jus tification?
I demand the full body camera footage of all officers from the incident. I demand the release of the autopsy report. I demand the names of the officers involved. And I
demand that the officer who s hot Albert be fired immediately.
Jus tice for Albert Arzola.
