RESOLUTION ADOPTING WAGE SCALE
FOR PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACTS
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that in
accordance with the provisions of Section 1770 of the Labor Code
of the State of California, said. City Council has ascertained the
general prevailing rate of hourly wages and rates for legal holi-
day and overtime work for each craft or type of laborer, workman
or mechanic needed for the execution of public works contracts
within said city,said prevailing rates so determined being as
follows:

The foregoing wage scales are for an eight hour day,
forty hour week, time and one -half for overtime and double time
for Sunday and /or Legal Holidays, except for flagmen, guards and
watchmen.
Properly indentured apprentices to any of the trades
listed above may be employed upon the project with skilled work-
men subject to the provisions of Section 1777.5 of the California
Labor Code, the wage rate for such apprentices to be determined
as provided in said section.
The foregoing resolution is approved and signed this
18th day of August, 1942.
