ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA TELEPHONE 3456 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 SPECIAL CONDITIONS: (a) Non- domestic service used on the domestic premises of the consumer may be served through the same meter as the domestic service under this schedule, on condition that the following adjust- ments for such non domestic connected load shall be made: Rate Adjustment; Heating None (2) Power (1) (1) and (2) Minimum Charge Adjustment: Heating Power (1) Insert between the second and third blocks an additional block of 100 KWH per HP connected at 2.90 per KWH, determined to the nearest 1 /10 HP. (2) Limit the sixth block at 1$ per KWOH to not more than 400 KWH. Bill any remaining kilowatthours in this block on the rate for the fifth block. (3) Increase minimum charge by 0.30 per KW of connected load. (4) Increase minimum charge by 1.00 per HP of connected load. The above adjustments will be waived when the total of such non domestic load does not exceed 1 KW, each horsepower of motor load being counted as 1 KW. Non- domestic lighting will be permitted on tne domestic schedule in amounts not to exceed 300 watts without any adjustment. For installations exceeding this amount, separate metering on appropriate schedule will be required. Non- domestic service is defined as any service used in an enterprise operated for income, or any other other service not requisite to the domestic habitation of a single family dwelling. (b) Rate (RW) is applicable only where the consumer has an electri� range and an electric water heater, both permanently installed and used both exclusively for all regular cooking and water heating on the Premises, and conforming to the following specifications: (1) Water heater shall be provided with an efficiently insulated storage tank and shall be equipped with two heating units each separately controlled by an individual thermostat. The thermostat control circuits shall be interconnected to cause tie lower heating unit to be cut off when the upper heating unit is on. Tne lower heating unit with its thermos- tat shall be located near tre bottom of the tank and the upper heating unit with its thermostat shall be located within the top one -third (1/3) of tank capacity. (2) Wattage ratings per gallon of tank capacity shall not exceed 25 watts for the lower heating unit and 50 watts for the upper heating unit. ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA TELEPHONE 3456 (c) Major equipment is any device for domestic use of 1 KW or over. Each horsepower of connected motor load shall be considered as equivalent to 1 KW. Connected load shall be determined to nearest 1 /10 KW. Connected load for water heaters will be the rating of lower heating units. (d) Where consumer installs air heating of 5 KW, or more, in major equipment and where the minimum charge per month is $6.00 or more, the minimum charge for the entire installation shall be made accumulative for the twelve (12) consecutive months beginning with the regular meter reading nearest January 1st, and shall be paid monthly as it accumulates. (e) The City at its election and expense may regulate the hours of use of any water heating and air heating load served under this schedule, and may limit the amount of such additional load that it is obligated to accept. (f) Where all of the single fi.mily accommodations in an apartment house, court group or similar multi family accomodation on a single premises are separately metered and the consumer has signed for all of the services, the total monthly minimum charge for the multi- family accommodation shall be the combined minimum charge on all of the meters regardless of the consumption of the individual meters. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Lighting General Service Schedule L -1 Anaheim, as established by said City Council in its said Resolution No. 1132, be and the same is hereby superseded, effective July 1, 1942, by the following Lighting General Service Schedule L -3 Anaheim: SERVICE: RATE: Lighting General Service Schedule L -3 Anaheim Applicable to all consumers of general without single phase power service. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Domestic Service Schedule D -3 Anaheim and Lighting General Service Schedule L -3 Anaheim, are hereby adopted and established, and shall become effective upon.
