WHEREAS, it has pleased Divine Providence to remove from our midst
our true friend and esteemed fellow- citizen, John W. Sackett, and
W H E R E A S John W. Sackett efficiently and faithfully served the City
of Anaheim from May, 19k4, to January, 1915, as its Street Superintendent, a
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is deeply grateful for having had the
opportunity of counting John W. Sackett among its most trusted and stalwart
citizens, and
WHEREAS, REAS, John W. Sackett was a loyal American, subscribing to,
and exemplifying the finest characteristics of American citizenship, and
WHEREAS, his honest, sincere and upright character will ever remai
a monument to his memory;

BE IT PURTH R RESOLVED, that copies of this resolution be forwarded
to Mrs. Sakcett and to Mr. Clarence M. Sackett.
On roll call the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by

Councilman Yungblath offered Resolution No. 1280 and moved for
its adoption. Councilman Murtonet seconded the motion.
