RESOLUTION ADOPTING WAGE SCALE
FOR PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACTS
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that in accordance
with the provisions of Section 1770 of the Labor Code of the State of Calif-
ornia, said City Council has ascertained the general prevailing rate of homrly
wages and rates for legal holiday and overtime work for each craft or type of
laborer, workman or mechanic needed for the execution of public works contracts
within said city, said prevailing rates so determined being as follows:

The foregoing wage scales are for an eiht hour day, forty hour week,
time and one-half for overtime and double time for Sunday and/or Legal Holidays,
except for flagmen, Guards and watchmen.
Properly indentured apprentices to any of the trades listed above
may be employed uuon the project with skilled workmen subject to the orovisions
of Section 1777.5 of the State Labor Code, the wage rate for such apprentices
to be deter-lined as provided in caid section.
The foregoing resolution is aenroved and signed this 19th day of
August, 1941.
