RESOLUTION OF CONDOLENCE
No. 1262
WHEREAS, the Great Creator in His infinite wisdom has
seen fit to call unto His presence our cherished friend, Frank E.
Weymouth, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Weymouth was the General Manager and Chief
Engineer of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California
for twelve years, and
WHEREAS, his indefatigable labor and great ability as
an engineer contributed in a great measure to the planning and
construction of the Colorado River Aqueduct, and
WHEREAS, the people of Anaheim and of Southern Californi
are greatly indebted to Mr. Weymouth for his great work in bring-
ing water to us,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM that it deeply mourns the passing of Frank E.
Weymouth, and in the name of and on behalf of the people of the
City of Anaheim it extends to his wife, Barbara Weymouth, its
deepest sympathy in her bereavement, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be spread
upon the minutes of said City Council, and that a copy thereof be
forwarded to Mrs. Weymouth.
The foregoing Resolution was signed and approved by me
this 22nd day of July, 1941.
