1941-1226RESOLUTION NO. 1226
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of that certain real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows: Lot 12, Block 1; Lot 7, Block 2; Lots 1 and 4, Block 3; and Lot 1,
Block 7; all in Tract No. 304, Mills Park Tract in the City of Anaheim, acquired by
deed from the County Tax Collector of the County of Orange, State of California, and
WHEREAS, said City of Anaheim has no use for said property or any part
thereof for public purposes, and said City Council finds that it is for the benefit
and best interests of said City that the said property should be sold and conveyed
into private ownership in order that the same may again be placed upon the tax rolls
of the City of Anaheim: and the County of Orange, and
WHEREAS, an offer of Two Hundred and Twenty -five ($225.00) Dollars cash,
together with the surrender to the City Treasurer of Anaheim for his cancellation
of all outstanding 1911 Act Bonds and Coupons being a lien upon said property, has
been made for the purchase of said property by a private individual, to- wit: Ruby
Suman, a single woman.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim
that it does hereby sell all the above described real property unto the said Ruby
Suman, a single woman, and the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Anaheim are hereby
authorized to make, execute and deliver unto said Ruby Suman, a single woman, the
grant deed of said City of Anaheim conveying said property to said Ruby Suman.
The foregoing resolution is approved and signed by me this 18th day of
February, 1941.
