RESOLUTION N0. 1210.
WHEREAS, THE SISTERS OF PROVIDENCE IN AMERICA HAVE ENJOYED A SUCCESSFUL
AND PROSPEROUS CENTURY OF PROGRESS WHEREIN THEY HAVE CONTRIBUTED MUCH TO THE SPIRITUAL
AND EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF OUR COUNTRY, AND
WHEREAS, UNDER THEIR ABLE GUIDANCE, MARYW000 HIGH SCHOOL HAS ESTABLISHED
ITSELF AS AN INSTITUTION of LEARNING WORTHY OF THE SPLENDID TRADITIONS or THE SISTERS
OF PROVIDENCE, AND
WHEREAS, THE CITIZENS OF ANAHEIM AND VICINITY ARE DEEPLY APPRECIATIVE OF
THE SPLENDID CONTRIBUTIONS WHICH SAID SCHOOL HAS MADE TOWARD THE DEVELOPMENT OF
WOMANHOOD,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, THAT
IT EXPRESSES TO THE SISTERS OF PROVIDENCE IN AMERICA ITS SINCERE APPRECIATION OF THEIR
GREAT WORX AND
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, THAT IT EXTENDS TO THE SISTERS OF PROVIDENCE IN
AMERICA ITS SINCEREST FELICITATIONS FOR THEIR CONTINUED PROGRESS AND PROSPERITY, AND
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT A COPY or THIS RESOLUTION BE FORWARDED TO THE
SISTERS OF PROVIDENCE 1N AMERICA AT MARYWOOD HIGH SCHOOL, ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA.
