ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA TELEPHONE 3456 RESOLUTION NO. /1 7 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM PRESCRIBING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF CERTAIN PARKING ZONES, DESCRIBING THE SAME AND THEIR LOCATION, PROVIDING FOR THE DESIGNATION THEREOF AND FOR SIGNS PERTAINING TO THE SAME, AND ORDERING THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS TO DESIGNATE AND POST THE SAME IN ACCORDANCE HEREWITH. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM: That the Superintendent of Streets of the City of Anahei is hereby ordered to designste certain parking zones within said City in accordance with the following specifications and at the places herein described: A. FIFTEEN MINUTE PARKING ZONES: Each fifteen minute parking zone shall comprise two contiguous parking spaces with an over -all width of not less than 26 feet at the curb line. The entire curb face abutting such zone shall have painted or placed upon it green paint or other green material upon which there shall be painted the following words in white letters: "Parking Limit 15 minutes, 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M." Upon a pole or lighting standard near each fifteen minute zone there shall be placed a sign with green background upon which shall appear the following words in white letters: "Parking Limit 15 Minutes 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. provided, however, that where there is no pole or lighting standard near such zone, no such sign shall be required to be placed. Fifteen minute parking zones shall be established at the following designated places: 1. On East Center Street, on the Southerly side of 1Z4*430 Lot 12, Block G of Subdivision of Vineyard Lot "D -3 14061 2. TWENTY MINUTE PARKING ZONES: Each twenty minute parking zone shall comprise one or more parking spaces, each of which shall be approximately 13 feet in width at the curb line where angle parking is permitted or prescribed, and 24 feet in width at the curb line where parallel parking is permitted or prescribed. The entire curb face abutting such zone shall have painted or placed upon it green paint or other green material upon which there shall be painted the following words in white letters: "Parking Limit 20 Minutes 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.L. Upon a pole or lighting standard near each twenty minute zone there shall be placed a sign with green background upon which shall appear the following words in white letters: "Parking Limit 20 Minutes 9:00 A.I to 6:00 P.M. escept Sundays and Holidays", provided, however, that where there is no pole or lighting standard near such zone, no such sign shall be required to be placed. For the purpose of this resolution, parking spaces where angle parking is permitted or prescribed shall be known as "angle spaces" and parking spaces where parallel parking is permitted or prescribed shall be known as "parallel spaces." Twenty minute parking zones shall be established upon the following named streets, comprising one or more spaces (as hereinafter designated) upon the following designated sides of the following described lots: 4 1.
