A RESOLU T I ON APPROVING- GE1,TER.AL PLAN SUBMI TTED BY ADMINI STRATIVE
COMEITTEE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE TREATI,:ENT PLANT OF JOINT
=FALL SEWER TOGETHER WITH APPROVAL OF PLAN FOR FINANC ING THE
SAME
WHEREAS, the Administrative Committee for the Construc-
tion of the Treatment Plant for the Joint Outfall Sever (which
committee is described in Resolution No. 1161 of the City Council
of the City of Anaheim) has submitted to the City Council of the
City of Anaheim a reneral plan of construction of a treatment
plant for said Joint Outfall Se-er, together with estimated cost
thereof, which estimated cost is ,c ,s135,104.76 by contract, and
WHEREAS, Dr. Edward L. Russell, Health Officer of Orange
County, California, has submitted to said City Council an "Appro-
ximate Proportional Cost of Sewage Treatment Plant" showing
three propositions; to-wit: Proposition I, wherein the cost by
contract is shown to be 4:135,104.76 (of which Anaheim's share
will be ,p20,600.00); Proposition II, wherein the project shall
be divided into two parts, the first portion to be built by
contract and the remainder (the two digesters and revetment wall)
to be made a separate project under W. P. A. at a total cost of
00,694.00 (of which Anaheim's shs.re is *10,816.00) plus cost of
7. P. A. project, the sponsor's share of which is not now deter-
mined, and Proposition 111 wherein the enti-e project shall be
done by T. P. A. with sponsor's contribution of *93,952.00 (of
which Anaheim's share is ,13,441.97),
NOW THEI7EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it does hereby approve said general
plan of construction as submitted by said. Administrative Committee
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said City Council favors
Proposition II as submitted by Dr. Russell, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said City Council does
hereby agree to proceed in accordance with either Proposition I
or III, as submitted by Dr. Russell, in the event that the other
members of said Joint Outfall Sewer Agreement shall reject
Proposition II and accept either Proposition I or III.
The foregoing resolution is approved and signed_ by
this 30th day of April, 1940.
