RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
WITH RESPECT TO THE ENFORCED ABSENCE, DUE TO ILLNESS OF ITS
MAYOR, CHAPUI) H. MANN.
W the H(;norable Charles H. Vann, the Mayor of
the City of Anaheim, has been,mcently stricken with illness re—
quiring grave surgical attention; and
I'VHEIWEAS, he has endured great suffering with his
characteristic fortitude; and
WHERE'Al the people of the City of Anaheim have been
greatly concerned about his physical well—being; and
WHEIREAS, his presence In the management of the affairs
of the City of Anaheim has been greatly missed;
NOW THEREnRE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anahetr.n that It extend to Mayor Charles H. Mann, Its
heartfelt sympathy In his illness; and
BE IT TURTHM REWLVED that it again extend to him
Its sincere appreciation for his unselfish and Invaluable services
to the City of Anaheim; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that it extend to him Its earn—
est hope that he will soon return to Its counsels.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVIED that a copy of this resolution
be sent to Mayor NAm.
The foregoing resolution Is signed and approved by me
