A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANIAHETI'., APPROVING OF THE SUBSTITUTION OF
THE LA HABRA SANITARY DISTRICT IN THE PLACE
AND STEAD OF THE CITY OF LA HABRA A.S COIITRACT-
ING PARTY IN JOINT OUT -FALL SEWER AGREEMENTS.
VHEREAS, there has been filed in the office of the City
C1er: of the City of Anaheir.�, a certified copy of an Agreement
er_tcred into under date of August 17, 193, between the City i
of La Habra and La Habra Sanitary District, pursuant to the
rovisions ofrhic'r, said City of La Habra has agreed to convey !f
zo said Sanitary District, all of it's right and control over
the interest and rights of said City under the various Agree
%rnents with the parties interested in the ownership, operation,
and maintenance of the Orange County Joint Out -Fall Seger, and
WHER2.LS, said Contract is supported by certified copies
cf Resolutions authorizing it's execution, and
IaHEREAS, there has also been filed with the Clerk of said
City of Anaheim, certified copy of a Resolution adopted by the
members of the La '. -:abra Sanitary District Board, pursuant to
the provisions of which said Sanitary District has assumed the
obligations theretofore imposed upon said City of La Habra,
pursuant to the various existing agreements relatin to the
construction, operation, and maintenance of said Out-Fall Sewer
in conjunction with the other parties interested t;.erein, and
WHEREAS, it appears to be-for the best interest of all
parties that said substitution, pursuant to said Agreement,
dated August 17, 1938, between said City of La Habra and said
La Habra Sanitary District, be approved;
NM',, THERTEFORE, The City Council of the Cit'! of Anaheim
resolves as folloY�rs:
That the substitution of La Habra Sanitary District in
t -e dace and stead of the City of La Habra, as the party
heretofore contracting witil the various member cities and
Sanitary Districts interested in the ownership, operation, and
maintenance of the Orange County Out -Fall Sewer, be and the
say: .qe is hereby approved and accepted.
The foregoing Resolution was duly introduced and adopted
by the I.ierr:cers of the City Council of the City of Anaheim at
t:e regular Meeting of said City Council held on the 9th day
of November, 1938, by the following; vote:
