OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM

THEIRFAS a public ca.1amity has occur in the City of Anaheim
due to am, extraordinary flood, and;
* it is necessary for the City of Anaheim to acquire
certain sewer pipe for the reconstruction of seiverc destroyed by
said flood, and;
WHEREAS it is also necessary for the city of Anaheim to acqui
chlorinating equipment for the purpose of putting chlorine into th
city water supply of the C of ,Anaheim:, and;
WHEREAS the pulblic health and safety would be endangered, in
any delay in the purchasing of said sewer nine and chlorinator;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Co of the
C ity of Anaheim that the public interest a,r.d necessity require
the immediate expenditure of public money to sefe. uaid the life
and health in the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Oi--'--,r purch,.se sufficient
sewer pipe to reconstruct the six (6) inch _-e line destroyed
in the vicinity of La. Palma Street and Test Street by the recent
f lood; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City purchase inmediately

the necessary chlorinating equipment for the purpose of making
safe the water in the City of Anaheim..
