7 �-MERZAS, Divine Providence has ceen fit to remove from our
midst our beloved councilman and fellow citizen, john H. Cook, and,
.iHEREAS John H. Cook, during his lifetime, exemplified the
highest degree of civic consciousness, and served this community as
City Councilman from 1912 to 1920, rnd again from IQ2 until tie
time of his demise, and,
FEREAS, John H. Cook did, at all times, give liberally and
unsparingly of his tioe, attention and substance for the upbuilding
of this vicinity, and for the protection of the interests of our
people, and,

SHE John. Cook practiced the virtues of charity to the

fullest extent,
THEREFORE BE 11 RESO&W BY THE CITY CouNCIL OF THE
DITY uF WHEIL that ne mourn the untimely passing of our beloved
official an& fellow citizen, John H. Cook.
BE IT FURTHER RMOLVED that we extend our deepest sympathy to
his wife and children in this their dark hour of bereavement.
BE IT FURTHER RESCLVED that this resolution be sqread upon the
minutes of the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that a ocpy
thereof be sent tc his rife, Ann Cook, to his daughter, Lary Ella
Champion, and to his sons, A. L. Cook and A. j. Cook.
