RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
PROVIDING FOR THE HOLDING OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL
ELECTION IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ON THE SECOND IN'
APRIL, 1934, TO-WIT: ON THE9TH DAY OF APRIL, 1934, AND
APPOINTING ELECTION OFFICERS FOR SAID MUNICIPAL ELECTION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That a general municipal election shall be held
at and within the City of Anaheim on the second k-on4SY"'in April, 1 !
1934, to-wit: on the 9th day of April, 1934, for the purpose of
electing the following officers of said city, to-wit: three(3J
members of the City Council, eft& City Clerk f-e-r tiTe unexpired
of two (2) years.
SECTION 2. At such election there shall be eight (6) voting
precincts, each of which shall consist of a consolidation of the
regular election precincts established in said city for holding
state or county elections, as follows:
Consolidated Voting Precinct "A", comprising state and
county precincts "Anaheim Precincts Nos. 1. 5 and 6", and the
polling place thereof shall be at the Soap Factory, 911 North Los
Angeles Street.
Consolidated Voting Precinct "Bu, comprising state and
county precincts "Anaheim Precincts Nos. 2, 3 and 4", and the
polling place thereof shall be the L. A. Fisher Garage, at 709
North Philadelphia Street.
Consolidated Voting Precinct "C", comprising state and
county precincts "Anaheim Precincts Nos. 7, 8 and 10 and the
polling place thereof shall be at the Anaheim Union High School,
at the Northwest corner of the intersection of West Center and
Citron streets*
Consolidated Voting Precinct "D", comprising state and
county precincts "Anaheim Precincts Nos. 11, 12 and 14 and the
polling place thereof shall be at the Ford Garage, at 320 North

Consolidated Voting Precinct "E ", comprising state and
county precincts "Anaheim Precincts Nos. 15, 16 and 18 ", and the
polling place thereof shall be at the Gibbs Lumber Company, at
East Broadway.
Consolidated Voting Precinct "Y ", comprising state and
county precincts "Anaheim Precincts Nos. 13, 19 and 20 and the
polling place thereof shall be at the City Hall, at 204 East
Center Street.
Consolidated Voting Precinct "G", comprising state and
county precincts "Anaheim Precincts Nos. 17, 21 and 22 ", and the
polling place thereof shall be at Stueckle- Millings Electric Shop,
at 613 South Los Angeles Street.
Consolidated Voting Precinct "Hu, comprising state and
county precincts "Anaheim Precincts Nos. 9, 23 and 24 ", and the
polling place thereof shall be at the J. A. Planting Garage, at
924 West. Broadway.
SECTION 3. Said election shall be held and conducted and
notice thereof shall be given in accordance with an Act of the
Legislature of the State of California entitled "An Act to Provide
for and Regulate Municipal Elections in Cities of the Fifth and
Sixth Class ", approved May 27, 1919, and all acts amendatory theret
provided that in all regpects not provided for in said act of the
legislature, such election shall be held and conducted in accord-
ance with the general election laws of the State of California
insofar as the same may be applicable.
SECTION 4. At such election the polls must be opened at the
hour of seven o' clock in the forenoon of said 9,,th day of April,
1934, and must be Dept open until the hour of seven o'clock in the
afternoon of said day, at which time the polls must be closed.
SECTION 5. The compensation of the persons composing the
election board to hold and conduct said election is hereby fixed

cooled, single phase, 50 cycle 2400 volts, 400 /200 Amp - with
5/10% buck or boost. (Regulators to be supplied connected
400 amp.)
Regulators are to be used on 3 phase, 3 wire, 2400 V, 50 cycle.
Feeder -
Regulators are to be automatic in operation, and they shall be
provided with necessary oil, relay switches. Contact making
Voltmeter, Current & Potential transformers. Fuse Blocks &
fuses. Line drop compensators. 3 phse, 50 cycle, 220 volt
operating motors. Oil gauge. Degin Valve. Indicating Temperature
indicators (with maximum temperature hand). Necessary accessories
for the 2 regulators to operate on 3 phase, 3 wire 2400 volt,
50 cycle 400200 amp feeder circuit including extra current
transformers if necessary.
4 - 800 amp, 7500 volts, single -pole, double throw, double blade
(for selector or transfer service) Dis. switch with 2 front
connected contacts and back connected hinge , metal base,
Indoor and for pipe frame mounting & barriers.
2 - 400 Amp, 7500 volts single pole single throw with back connected
contact & front connected hinge, metal base, pipe frame mounting,
indoor disconnecting switch. Necessary pipe frame work fittings
etc for mounting disconnecting switches, current transformers etc.
necessary for regulators operation. Furnish necessary pipe
frame work necessary for mounting above disconnecting switches,
current and potential transformers etc. App. 6 wide by 10' high.
