RESOLV�'B by the City Council- of t City of Anaheim
that this council go on record as opposed to the a.d.optior. of
Senate Bill No. 3 98.
And the City Clerk is hereby directed to mail a cony
of this resolution to our representives in the legislature
Honorable Yelson Edward and Ted Craig and tv.e hereby request
said representatives to op,,Doce the adoption of said bill.

Councilman Sheridan offered the following Resolution and moved
that it be passed and adopted:
RESOLVED: That all of that portion of Orange County
obtaining water from the cater shed of the Santa Ana, River is
vitally interested in stopping caste of water in, In preventing
exportation of water from and in the replenishment of the
cater supply in, the said water shed; that the intoTests of the
cities and of the surrounding agricultural and horticultural
lands obtaining crater from said source are Identical; that
Assembly Bill No. 1961 introduced by Assemblyman Craig for the
formation of Orange County Water Saving and Replenichment
Di strict oo:rprising that portion of Orange County which ob- ..
tains water from the crater shed of the Santa Ana, River is
framed so as to give the district power to protect the district
in its hater supply and this City Council does hereby heartily
endorse and approve the ca.id bill mid recommend its adoption.
To ovoid possibility o_ double taxebion on municipal
corporations in the district which are rezabors of the y,#ropoj!L

the proposed act be modified so ra;s to a.:W='p
property in said cities, which are obtaining all Meter for
domestic purposes from water supplied through 6 aid Tie tropolitan
Water District, from Taxation on account I of any bones voted by
the district for the purpose of procuring iraport tion into the
district of rater from sources outside the district.
The motion to pass and adopt said Resolution was seconded by
Councilman Koesel and upon roll call passed and adopted by the
