RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
WHEREAS, this City Council has heretofore expressed its in-
tention of entering into a contract with the United States Gov-
ernment for power to be furnished from the Hoover Dam, and,
WHEREAS, since said declaration of intention, said City
Council has investigated the cost of acquiring said power and
the benefits to be derived therefrom, and, upon said investiga-
tion, it appears to the City Council that the cost of acquiring
the same would be too great,
NON, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this City Council revoke
Its former declaration of intention to enter into said cont:z:c,t,
and that this City Council go on record as opposed to entering
into said contract with the United States Government, and that
a copy of this Resolution be mailed by the City Clerk of the
City of Anaheim to the cities interested.
The foregoing resolution is signed and approved by me
this 28th day of July, 1931.
