INTENTION TO ORDER THE Ili-PROVE1-ENT ()F PORTIONS OF 'LEST 021' TER STREET,
CHESTNUT STREET AND LINCOLN AVENUE, IN SAID CITY.
RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY -OF A.11AHE1
SECTION 1
WORK PROPOSED: That the )ublic interest and convenience require
and that it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Anaheim
to order the improvement of p I U

possession and use of which, as rights of way required for - public use,
, orders have been obtained from the Superior Court of the State of
California., in and for the County of Orange, in the matter of Acquisition
and Improvement Districts Nos. 2 and 3 of said city, said i ii rove tnent
to consist of the following street work, except those portions of such
improvements as are alri�ady constructed in accordance with the adopted
plans enumerated in Sections 2 and 3 hereof:-
WEST CENTER STREET BET LOS ANGELES AK LE " ON STREETS,
widening the roadway to a width of 57.5 feet by the removal of present
curb and a portion of the sidewalk on both sides, and grading to the
official grade; constructing standard concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter
along both sides, said outters to extend from nest curb to edge of
present roadway pavement; removing oresent street lighting standards and
constructing new ornamental street ii_Prhtlng� system along boti", sides,
using two-light, cast iron standards of the Anaheim design.
WEST CENTER STREET BET-EEN -L IK'.0N v AND CLEM'ENTINZ STREETS, removing
present street lighting standards and. constructing new ornamental
street lighting system along both sides, using two-light cast iron
standards of the Anaheim design.

roadway to a width of 64.5 feet by the removal of present curb, sidewalk,
driveway pavement, and retaining curb from both sides, and grading to
the official grade; construct'ino standard concrete sidewalk 6 feet wide,
concrete gutters 6.25 feet wide, and standard curb along both sides;
reconstructing concrete driveways, ano retaining curb on both sides, in
quantities similar to those removed; paving new roadway areas (outside
of gutters) and resurfacing portions of present pavement between Illinois
and � Streets and at intersections, with asphaltic concrete -r-avet.
constructing pipe waterways with concrete inlet, outlet and. cleanout
boxes at Citron and Best Streets; and constructing ornamental street

Council, said contemplated work and. improvement is of more than local
or ordinary - public benefit, said City Council hereby makes the expense
of said work and improvement chargeable upon a certain district within
said City of Anaheim, which district said City Council hereby declares
to be the district benefited by said work and improvement and, to be
assessed to pay the costs and expenses thereof, and vrhiCh said district
