DISTRICT NO. 3 OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RESOLUTION PASSING UPON PROTESTS AND MAKING FINAL
DETERMINATIONS AS TO BOUNDARIES, ZONES AND PERCENTAGES.
WHEREAS, this Cit0ouncil adopted its Resolution of Intention
No. 216 in the matter of Acquisition and Improvement District No. 3
of the City of Anaheim, on the 14th day of January, 1930, and at the
time and place fixed therein for the hearing of any and all objections
or protests which, under the provisions of the "Acquisition and Improve-
ment Act of 1925," can be presented to this legislative body, took up
the matter of hearing the same; and
WHEREAS, at " not later than the hour set for said hearing
certain owners of land within the boundaries of the assessment district/
as the same are set forth in said resolution of intention, filed with
the clerk of this legislative body written objections to the doing of
the thing or things in said resolution 6f intention proposed to be
done, in their entirety, and to the ordering of the same, and certain
objections, written and oral, have been made to the doing of the said
things so proposed to be done, and to the extent of the assessment
district, and to the zones into which said district is divided, and to
the proposed percentages to be raised therefrom, as set forth in said
resolution of intention; and
WHEREAS, careful consideration has been given to said objections
and protests and an opportunity has been afforded to all persons
desiring to be heard thereon, and a full, fair and impartial hearing
upon the entire matter has been had and evidence has been received
relative to the area of property represent4d in the written protests
filed, and upon the other matters objected to;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, that it is hereby found, determined and ordered as follows :,,,__

1. That the owners of more than one half of the area of the
property included within the entire assessment district as described
in said Resolution of Intention No, 216 heretofore adopted in this
matter, and in the Specifications therefor referred to in said re-
solution., have not made written objection going to the entirety of
the thingstherein proposed to be done;
2. That all of the pootests and objections, both written and
oral, against the doing of the thing or this as an entirety, proposed
to be done in said resdlution of intention, are hereby overrulb& and
denied.'
3. That said City Council finds that certain property included
within the assessment district as proposed in said specifications and
said Resolution of Intention No. 216, will not be benefited by the doing
of the thing or things proposed to be donee and it is hereby ordered
and determined that the exterior boundaries of the assessment district
for said Acquisition and Improvement District No. 3 be modified to read
as follows:
Beginning at the northeasterly corner of Lot 18, Block 4,
Summerfield and Oppenheimer's Subdivision of the Spoerl Tract, as
recorded in Book 19, page 44, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles
County; thence west along the north line of Lots 18 to 36 inclusive of
said Block 4 and Lots 19 to 36 inclusive of Block 3 of said subdivision,
and said line extended, to the west city boundary line; thence south
along said west city boundary line to a point 273.24 feet south from
the south line of Lincoln Avenue; thence northeastwardly along a line
parallel with and distant uniformly 184.75 feet northwardly from the
northerly line of hest Center Street, to the easterly line of North
Thalia Street; thence southwardly along said easterly line to the
southwesterly corner of Lot 3, Boege's Subdivision of Lot 34, Anaheim
Extension, as per map recorded in Book 3, page 229, Miscellaneous
Records of Los Angeles County; thence northeastwardly along the southerly
line of tots 3,7, and 11 of said Subdivision and said line extended,
to the easterly line of said Lot 11; thence southeastwardly along the

easterly line of Lots 11 and 12 of said Subdivision to a point 100
feet northwardly from the northerly line of West Center Street;
thence northeastwardly along a line parallel with and distant
uniformly 100 feet northwardly from the northerly line of said West
Center Street, to the easterly line of Lot 9, Villa Place Addition,
as per map recorded in Book 6, page 8, Miscellaneous Maps;!.Records of
Orange County; thence southeastwardly along the easterly line of said
lot to the northerly line of said West Center Street; thence north-
eastwardly along said northerly line and said line extended, to the
extended westerly line of North West Street; thence northwestwardly
along said extended westerly line and said westerlyline of North
'Nest Street ti the point of beginning.
4. That, for the reasons stated in Section 3, above, it is
hereby ordered and determined by said City Council that all of that
portion of Zone C lying north of a line parallel with and distant
uniformly 125 feet north of the present north line of Lincoln Avenue,
as said Zone C was proposed in said Resolution of Intention No. 216 and
in said specifications and shown on the diagram of said assessment dis-
trict approved and adopted by this City Council on the 10th day of
December 1929, be removed from said assessment district.
That otherwise, .Zones A, B and C correctly reflect the benefits to
be derived by the property included within each, respectively, and that
the boundaries of said zones as shown in said specifications, resolution
of intention and diagram, with the modification above, are hereby
adopted and established.
5. That on account of the modification of bouhdary and zone ordered
and established in Sections 3 and 4 above, and in order that such
zoning shall correctly reflect the benefits to be derived by the property
to be assesse&,it is the judgment of said City Council that the per-
centages to be raised in the several zones for the payment of the special
assessment taxes should be as stated below, and it is hereby ordered and
determined that the percentages proposed in the aforesaid specifications
and resolution of intention in the matter of said Acquisition and

Improvement District No. 3 be changed to the following:
From Zone A - - - - - - - 49%
From Zone B - - - - - - - 49%
From Zone C--- - - - - 2%
The foregoing resolution is approved and signed this 11th day
of February, 1930.
