RESOLUTION DENYING PROTESTS
ORDERING THE WORK AND LEVYING AS488MENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim on the
9th, day of August, 1928, passed its Resolution of Intention
No. 214 in the above entitled matter;
AND, WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution of Intention,
this City Counoil of the City of Anaheim, on the 25th, day of
October, 1928, passed and adopted a Resolution adopting report
of planning commission, and in said Resolution fixed Thursday,
the 22nd, day of November, 1928, as the day, eight otclook P.M.
as the hour, and the council chamber of the City Council of the
City of Anaheim as the place when and where any person interest-
ed objecting to said proposed improvement or the proposed as-
sessments therefor, might be heard;
AND, WHEREAS, notice of the passing of said resolution and
the adoption of said report of the planning commission was dull
and regularly_ published and post6d, as provided by law, as ap-
pears from affidavits on file in the office of the city clerk of
said City;
AND, WHEREAS, at the time and place set for said hearing
of objections, said matter was regularly called for hearing, and
the city clerk presented such written protests as had been fildd
with him;
AND WHEREAS, said City Council finds - that said protests
are signed by the owners of less than one per cent of the frontage

of the property fronting On the streets or parts of streets
within the proposed assessment district*;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of ,Anaheim:
1. That the protests.against the improvement proposed to be
done under said Resolution of Intention No. 214 are found to be
insufficient and are hereby overruled and denied;
2. That the report of the planning commission of the City of
Anaheim adopted by this City Council on the 25th, day of October,
1928, be, and the same is hereby approved and confirmed;
3. That all of the work and improvement set forth in said
Resolution of Intention No. 214 and described in the report of
the planning commission be made and done according to the plans
and specifications referred to in said report, and in a4dordanoe
With the Tree Planting Act of 1915;
4. That this City Council does hereby levy, said assessments
referred to in said report of the planning commission adopted on
the said 25th, day of October, 1928, upon the lots, paces or
subdivisions of land in front of which aaid proposed improvements
are to be made, all as set forth and described in the specifi-
cations and plans, and as said lots, pieces or subdivisions of
land are shown upon the maps of the assessment district herein
referred to, which maps are on file in the office of the City
Clerk.
The foregoing resolution is approved and signed this
