RESOLUTION DENYING PROTESTS
ORDERING THE WORK AND LEVYING ASSE68MENT.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * *
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim on the 22nd
day of December, 1927, passed its Resolution of Intentio=.No. 212
in the above entitled matter;
AND, WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution of Intention, this
City Council of the City of Anaheim, on the 12th day of January,
1928, passed and adopted a Resolution adopting the report of'the
planning commission, and in said Resolution fixed Thursday, the
9th day of February, 1928, as the day, eight o'clock P.M. as
the hour, and the council chamber of the City Council of the City
of Anaheim as the place when and where any person interested object—
ing to said proposed improvement or the proposed assessments there—
for, might be heard;
AND, WHEREAS, notice of the passing of said resolution and the
adoption of said report of the planning commission itas duly and
regularly published and posted, as provided by la.w, as appears from
affidavits on file in the office of the city clerk of said City;
AND, WHEREAS, at the time and place set for said hearing of
objections, said matter was regularly cal]. -ad for hearing, and the
city clerk presented such written protests as had been filed with
h im;
AND WHEREAS, said City Council finds that said protests are
signed by the owners of less than two per cent of the frontage of
the property fronting on the streets or parts of streets within: the

assessment district;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim:
1. That the protests against the improvement proposed to be
done under said Resolution of Intention No. 212 are found to be
insufficient and are hereby overruled and denied;
2. That the report of the planning commission of the City of
Anaheim adopted by this City Council on the 12th day of January,
1928, be, and the same is hereby approved and confirmed;
3. That all of the work and improvement set forth in said
Resolution of Intention No. 212 and described in the report of
the planning commission be made and done according to the plans
and specifications referred to in said report, and in accordance
with the Tree Planting Act of 1915;
3. That this City Council does hereby levy said assessments

referred to in said report of the planning commission adopted on
the said 12th day of January, 1928, upon the lots, pieces or sub—
divisions of land in front of which said proposed improvements are
to be made, all as set forth and described in the specifications
and plans, and as said lots, pieces or subdivisions of land are
shown upon the plans of the assessment district herein referred to,
which are on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The foregoing resolution is approved and signed this
day of 1928.
